Florescent Pocket Flashlight
(610-0853) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 52865
Keep the flashlight dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode electronic circuits.
Use and store the flashlight only in normal temperature environments.
Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic devices and
distort or melt plastic parts.
Handle the flashlight gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the
circuit boards and cause the flashlight to work improperly.
Keep the flashlight away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature
wear of parts.
Wipe the flashlight with a damp cloth occasionally to keep the
flashlight looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents,
or strong detergents to clean the flashlight.
Use a fresh battery of the recommended size and type. Always remove an
old or weak battery. It can leak chemicals that destroy electronic
circuits.
Modifying or tampering with the flashlight's internal components can cause
a malfunction and might invalidate the flashlight's warranty. If your
flashlight is not operating as it should, take it to your local RadioShack
store for assistance.
