 Highly likely that the transistors are shorted along with resistors. Good news is that majority of the bad parts can be
 replaced. The balanced mixers and oscillator and filters can not.

 The whip antenna with the loading coil can be duplicated and a huge return made on a re manufacture of that antenna .

 The seller really should have all the pieces inspected for bad parts etc. I do have the skill's to do it fore which I my
 self am repairing my mason unit and I have a spec manual but please note that all mason's may have been subjected to
 high-pot a SOP per de-mil on govt units.
