TSCM contract

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A S= OLE SOURCE CONTRACT to SystemWare, Inc. (SWI), 6785 Business Par= kway, Suite 9, Elkridge, MD, 21075-6353, using the simplified acquisition= procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12). This contract is to pr= ocure two 5-= day SystemWare training Technical Surveillance Countermeasures School (TS= CM) classes for the HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting, ATTN= : IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5246. The Govern= ment intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above= products and services to SWI. Note: This firm is the sole recognized= developer as well as sole manufacturer of this proprietary software t= o run their platforms. The proposed contract action is for training service= s for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Period= s of Performance are as follows: 2 6 March 2009 and 13 17 July 2009. All= responses received within 5 working days after date of publication of= this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the= Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based= upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the pu= rpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
