If you send me a series of photographs of the device, including one picture of it with the cover/back removed I will ID at no charge. I maintain a database of bugs which dates back to the early 80's, and contains several hundred thousand bugs (no kidding, it really is several HUNDRED thousand bugs). We Hunt Spies, We Stop Espionage, We Kill Bugs, and We Plug Leaks.
What frequency was it found operational on (VHF I assume), and was it hardwired into a line, or was it using an internal microphone. How was the antenna oriented?
I aggressively research what is out there, and research (in meticulous detail) who is selling to who, how many are being built, develop multiple methods to find the devices, etc, etc so I should be able to provide wealth of information if you can provide me with just a couple of details and information.

We have a device similar to the device seen on James page at:

except it does not have the "Ruby" sticker
Would anyone know the manufacture or distributer, or specs, I've check
our local "spyshop" and Ruby electronics website but they don't seem to
carry this type. It is powered by a button cell 1.5v battery with
chinese markings and AG13. the antenna is about 37.5 inches and its 1"
X 3/4" x 3/8"
Any information would be appreciated, we're trying to find where it
would be sold in the north west or Canada's west coast or if it was a
magazine order.
Thanks,
JP
