I too read Lee Lapin's books, and they were quite informative. = "How to get anything on anybody" was good, but I perfer "The= Extreme Covert Catalog" and "Spy Game, winning through super tec= hnology". I sure hope he's alright.  Peaking of industry ghoast w= riters. What happened to M.L. Shanon and Shifty Bugman?
