It works off the the reflection that come inside of the vehicle, by
virtual of the GPS signals that come though the glass.

There are a lot of sources of power in the overhead liner of the
vehicle, and a significant amount of unused space.

Less chance of interference probelms over a in-dash installation, and
better coverage then a under-vehicle installation.
