Hi guys,

My question concerns content analysis:

According to accepted usage, the term "content analysis" refers to the cont=
ent of communications.

I may be using the term incorrectly because I have been using it to refer n=
ot to communications but the movement of physical goods. For example if my =
surveillance of an enemy's territory shows the construction of a cement pla=
nt and a railroad spur, this may indicate the building of a new factory or =
other structure.

My question is: does the term "content analysis" include the movement of ph=
ysical goods or is there another accepted term?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy
