I find that interesting. Performance per watt has
been increasing pretty fast.

Therefore, if the NSA is running out of power, then
their power demands are rising faster than their
savings due to the inverse of the performance per
watt curves. This is, in other words, a way to
estimate how much computing they are adding per
unit time.

Reminds one of how the number of NSA employees
may be classified, but Google Earth lets you count
cars in the parking lot.
