Blackberry Intercept and Insertion
A friend sent an email from his Blackberry and someone hacked into it,
inserted a few sentences, and it was delivered - altered - to the
recipient with a copy (altered) back to his phone. It was a T-Mobile
Blackberry account. Have you heard of this happening before? A
computer security expert told me it is not that hard to do. Just
wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
T-Mobile denied it. Blackberry is investigating. But the Blackberry
forums is very defensive and insists that it is impossible. All that
I have read indicates that it is possible.
I would not be so concerned but there could be a safety issue here.
Thanks.
