Attorney General's Office Formally Accepts Lafayette Bugging Case
State Attorney General Charles Foti has formally accepted the state's
case against former Lafayette police chief, Randy Hundley and three
other former members of his department.
Hundley and the three others were successfully indicted by District
Attorney Mike Harson after our I-Team uncovered allegations the four
were using an illegal listening device inside the police station to
eavesdrop on other members of the department.
Hundley has since claimed he was the target of a political conspiracy
aimed at getting him fired.
At last report, no trial date has yet been set.
