Then it could be time to discuss Marty Kaiser's book, his getting trounced
by politically-connected and technically-illiterate Feebs, his shift to
bomb-detecting
equipment, especially countermeasures for IEDs.

Those nasties are likely to be the next means to shock and awe the homelands
around the world in enthusiastic asymmetrical warfare against big iron
draining
budgets swollen for illusory national security.

So many wireless devices in millions of hands, so few countermeasures.

Marty concludes the book with a right handy syllabus and guide to TSCM. Is
that
on line? Should be.

Perhaps Marty could share a view of the swarming wireless threats he
envisions
alooming. FBI, listen up, or don't if you're not equipped.

Why is so much of what the FBI does about technical means contracted out?
Same reason DoD does it, and the spies do it. Marty has a few words about
that.
