Summer:  Summer 2003 went in a decidedly different direction, with an image from San Francisco of the remains of a telephone pole suspended in midair while nailed to its replacement and still having wires and equipment attached to it.

This was one of our simplest covers, with no hidden meanings or images.  It was just a cool picture.
