Howdy,

I think he will start to cry when he sees the prices of vodka over here.

I've already put in a special request for the airport security to carefully check his luggage for "clear" liquids.

In Vegas, as long as you keep playing at the tables, the Vodka is for FREEEEEE!, so you could save a lot of money.

(How is that for correct smiley use, dELTA??)

And, at the tables, they will give you even more if you are, by chance, winning. Their goal is to get you so wired you can't make correct choices and you start losing. I say this from having worked in such an establishment in my college days.

Howdy,

Somehow I dont see him doing a lot of gambling.

You know, given his extremely conservative approach to RCE .

Oh and, JMI, were there more than two casino's in Vegas back in your college days?

I wasn't actually talking about the Prince in that comment about getting the players loaded. I've actually watched it being done when someone was winning too much!

I believe the were several Casinos at the time and they were mostly associated with Hotels and "well connected," if you catch my drift. There were also still a very few of the older "original" casinos still left them.

As I recall, especially from seeing again something fairly recently, the city was segregated for quite awhile. Entertainers like Sammy David, Jr. had to actually say in the "colored" part of town, although he was allowed to perform with the rest of "the rat pack" gang in some of the "white's only" casinos/hotels. It's not a part of "the City which never sleeps" which is very frequently discussed.

I've never actually been there, and have little interest in going. I did, however, work in a casino at Lake Tahoe for awhile, while I was in College.

In order to try to salvage my recent hijacked thread about DEFCON and Black Hat Briefings participation ("http://www.woodmann.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11922"), I've moved all thread-off-topic posts in it to this thread instead. Feel free to continue these discussions here instead though.

I suppose it's my job to introduce dELTA to the sub-zero vodka room at Red Square in Vegas?

It is!, you may want to google the place to see their prices. Usually you buy a bottle and they put your name to it and keep it on this freezing room (see picture). When you want to drink it, you drink it inside the freezing room (they lend you a fur coat and hat of course).

Disavowed, how much did you spend in there this year?
