you will have to be <quite> specific on this board, if you want a reply. Your required assistance in cracking PE files lies in what areas? Crypto? compression? serial/reg? key files?...what?...you get the idea.

Also, it would help if you provided with the name of the application and showed us that you have *at least* tried to crack the same.

sorry for being unspecific. actually i am cracking Download Accelerator Plus 5 (DAP 5) for days but i could not trace a program and find its reg serial. I used bpx getwindowtexta in
S-ice but...

please help me.

I recommend you to start with something easier. DAP5 is a bit harder to defeat. (Maybe I'm wrong but as you said you're a newbie ... ).

You will have to spell out your approach. The old approach of a "memory-echo" no longer works in carefully crafted programs.

Instead of trying to find a valid "serial/user" combination, I may suggest you actually search for, and disable the bad-boy jumps (conditional). Note however, that this will be possible if the code is unencrypted/uncompressed. If it is compressed/encrypted, you may need to identify/break/reverse the necessary compression/encryption using ready made tools.

Start easy. Try cracking Winzip 6.0 or above for easy "memory-echo" approach to the same.
