Hiya all,

I wanted to put my 2c on this one since I've just seen it.

I'm really angry that someone could and would actually be so stupid as to steal this for a few MB's on a few lousy sites, and also totally compromise a legitamate end-user, its this sort of practise that really pisses me off in the scene and I hope some of the more intelligent people around here will agree with me.

Of course, all the lameasses who couldn't afford or be bothered to buy IDA will now be downloading like morons just to see a few extra features they didn't need anyway.

I'm disgusted.

Snatch.

Now for the truth: IDA v4.17 is coming to a dump site near you. It is the standard and has this key file:
<IDA Pro key file v4.1.7>
Roger Cross, 1 user, std, 7/2000

So it is your choice whether you need IDA Pro v4.15 Advanced or IDA Pro v4.17 Standard. Advanced just includes support for 10 more processors and controllers though that most people do not have any use for. So for I think everyone that reads this message, the choice is obvious which version of the tool is right for you. And who knows with a little ingenuity maybe you can turn a Standard version into Advanced by copying files from the older version. =].

Snatch : Just tell me which part of the word 'moron' you don't understand and I'll be happy to explain in minute detail exactly how it describes you perfectly.

In fact, we (many of us) remember your begging for months on IRC for recent copies of IDA, you never knew why you wanted it then, and from what I can see you don't know why you need it now (the real truth hurts eh?).

Never mind, yet another fucked IDA user, seems you couldn't even wait for zillions to get hold of it from the warez scene before posting this poor guys details all over a public msgboard, although since its sat on a pretty public FTP (you could guess the l/p with some thought) its probably not going to be long before someone leaks it.

Don't post a reply to this one, it might cause me to rant uncontrollably further.

Explain how I am a moron. Actually that won't be necessary. You need not make yourself seem any more childish.

I was begging for IDA? I didn't know why I wanted it? Wow. First off, I did ask a few people for IDA. Oh did I forget to tell you I got on my hands and knees and begged too? I didn't know why I needed it? Well I do recall explaining when anyone asked(I assumed people wouldn't need to ask unless they didn't know the features already themselves) exactly why whether it was automatic parameter identification or because the older version had a bug that I ran into often.

About the IDA it is an interesting copy it is not complete and noone is sure of its origin. Never made it to warez either so who knows. I encourage everyone to get it and figure out how to make it complete heh. And let CrackZ whine. Who cares? I don't.

Rant on, my man. Rant on. Maybe you will actually have something intelligent to say.
