Snatch

Hiya all,
I wanted to put my 2c on this one since I've just seen it.
I'm really angry that someone could and would actually be so stupid as to steal this for a few MB's on a few lousy sites, and also totally compromise a legitamate end-user, its this sort of practise that really pisses me off in the scene and I hope some of the more intelligent people around here will agree with me.
Of course, all the lameasses who couldn't afford or be bothered to buy IDA will now be downloading like morons just to see a few extra features they didn't need anyway.
I'm disgusted.
Snatch.
Now for the truth: IDA v4.17 is coming to a dump site near you. It is the standard and has this key file:
<IDA Pro key file v4.1.7>
Roger Cross, 1 user, std, 7/2000
So it is your choice whether you need IDA Pro v4.15 Advanced or IDA Pro v4.17 Standard. Advanced just includes support for 10 more processors and controllers though that most people do not have any use for. So for I think everyone that reads this message, the choice is obvious which version of the tool is right for you. And who knows with a little ingenuity maybe you can turn a Standard version into Advanced by copying files from the older version. =].
