softice used to work perfectly well on my 486 but now I have changed to 900mhz thunderbird amd, a7v motherboard and csb platinum and asus v7700. anyway this combination seems not to work for softice...since every time I try to start softice it pops up before windows98 even starts and gets stuck there ....it says something like fault 00 or someting...I have tried to change my configuration but nothing seems to work maybe it does not like my optical mouse...I don't know ....plz help me with this....has anyone had the same problem...if so what did you do...

whats your version of sice?

First try putting FAULTS OFF in your INIT= line. If that doesn't work, try re-installing SoftICE.

I can say for certain it's not your mouse....i've been using an intellieye for over a year w/ no probs
