I am newbe to cracking. My first target is a sentinel Superpro dongle whose dump is attached. Please guide me how to proceed

I think this thread should be in the Newbies Forum, also try 2 search on dongle, maybe u find something useful.

If not, then maybe u should start with an easy target and then read some tuts about Dongle cracking(not easy at all).

BTW, i'm new here 2, but i have learned this: do some work on ur own, then show it and explaine where ur stucked. I don't think anybody here will guide u from start 2 end.

warior_jal, how to proceed. Simple start with a lot of patience, read all of "Dongle bashing" by frog's print (see +fravia's site), read all of crackz's dongle tutorials. Download IDA, W32DASM, and a hex editor, you may also want to download softice however I haven't used it for my projects. Then start reading, and experimenting. You must keep really good notes on what you change and if it works!

I am sorry to have posted it in the wrong forum. I know a bit of assembly and have read the papers. My problem is that i do not know how to code the emulator as a seperate exe file. I need a the code in which i can put the words retrieved from the dongle and then proceed with softice to find out the what the proggy expects from the unreadable cells. Also what I need is any utility that could effectively dump sentinel dongles and other dongles.
Regarding the crackz tutorial about emulator inside the sx32w.dll file, I tried it but the program crashes (general protection fault) when i use the delta offset. I tried to fix the stack but it still craches. The option that seems best is to code a seperate exe to emulate the dongle. Please help me with the code and dumper utilities.
Once done I'll publish the entire results as a tutorial here.
