Posting after long time. By the way, i am entangling with the serial fishing in the game called QuickSnooker downloaded from :

http://www.quicksnooker.co.uk

When i first saw the window that will ask for the serial, i immediately open my Wdasm and search for the string "Invalid Serial". First i think they were lame programmers and the program can be cracked with a change of je to jne.

It works as i guessed and i start the program. After some time it pop out message saying that the program has been tampered with. I have never seen such protection. Please help me.

The program contains a crc check. To find out where it is located, run the program till the tamper message appears then enter SI and do "hwnd snooker" to find the handle of the dialog box. I think it is the 1st or 2nd item listed. Note the handle and then do "wmsg handle# wm_destroy". This tell SI to break when the message box is destroyed. Now go back to the program and press the OK button and SI will break. Press F12 numerous times till you get back to the main program. You are now in the crc checking routine. I'm sure you will see what to do.
