I'm a Newbie :for some help please
- 2 questions -

1/ - I try to learn how I can crack a delphi prog which use IDE detection for running; exe demo has been compiled with BPL, DCU TRIAL and stop after a popup window with "only run with delphi IDE ..."
- no "bpx MessageBoxA, GetDlgItemTextA" works
- "bpx FindWindow" doesn't work with "symbol not defined" but kernel32, user32 and so on ... are configured in winice.dat
How ca I do ???

2/The second essay I try is also new for me :
- I run an exe package INSTALLATION prog and when it starts there are:
- a popup with "wise installation started ..." (??)
- a pop dialog box with "userID and Key" for continue with a "next" button
- a temp file xxxx.tmp (dll type) used by the installation prog
- but -
- no "bpx MessageBoxA, GetDlgItemTextA" works again >(
- only one "bpx GetDlgItem" works but very ??? for me

The reason why softice does not break when running a DELPHI program is because it does not use standard WINDOW's API functions

Find some tuts on cracking DELPHI programs there are loads out there
