Has anyone tried to run W32Dasm on Windows 2000 and managed to get it working 100% ?

I have tried to get info on this from everywhere on the net without joy.

When you load up the Dasm software and launch the app for debugging, windows 2000 kills both the W32Dasm process and the app process when you try see the api call info (especially when you try add a breakpoint to user32.dll and kernel32.dll). Is there a way around this ?

I have noticed that amount of issues that some are having with SoftIce and I cannot help feeling that we are all being affected by the same problem. Does your SoftIce service / process get killed or just ignored ?

What I can say is that W32Dasm runs perfectly on Win2K Pro RC2 and below so something has been done to the release version to stop us from debugging.

Any info would be appreciated.
