I have win xp sp2. Whenever I try to start olly it's open for about 2 sek, and then close.

Can anyone help?

ok it could be any of the things i'll detail below:

*You have some protection from Debuggin at the anti-virus
*some program got anti-debugger protection detected by IsDebuggerPresent function
*some registery debuggin protection
*ollydbg bug (try different ver)

a bad olly plugin Disable all plugins and try one by one

look in services list the bad services (game protectors, dongles, packers etc and disable all this junk)

Ollydbg work perfect in XP +sp2 i have the same SO.
