What Really Happened to Brian Freeman

Brian Freeman was a West Point graduate, and a US army captain, serving in Iraq. Capt Freeman, and four other US soldiers, were at a meeting with Iraqi police officials, at a secure base in Karbala, where an incident took place, killing the entire group.

A Very Strange Story

One version says, on Jan 20th, the Karbala provincial government compound came under mortar attack, and Freeman's group was killed at the meeting.

Another Version

A second version says, he was kidnapped, and executed. The story goes that the Iraqis were driving black American SUVs, wearing American uniforms, and speaking English well enough to pass through three checkpoints. They entered the building, kidnapped the five soldiers, then drove away, going back through three checkpoints, and executed the five.

The Third Version

There was a bomb at the meeting.

Three Checkpoints

Karbala is in the midst of a religious festival, they are on high alert. The kidnappers would need to get in passed three checkpoints, and go out passed three checkpoints.

Who Are The Likely Candidates?

Who could drive through three checkpoints, enter a secure base, and kidnap five American soldiers? The only ones would be mercenaries. The bomb version could have been mercenaries, or Israeli advisors.

Insurgent Story Makes Zero Sense

Why would insurgents go through all this to get five soldiers? They would sit on a rooftop and nail a humvee with an RPG. Whoever did this wanted Captain Freeman, and his computer.

So What Happened?

John Kerry is a billionaire egotistical senator, who wouldn't hold a door for a double amputee Iraq veteran, much less care about about Brian Freeman. There is something more to this. A good guess is Freeman's wife is sitting on something, similar to Todd Beaman's wife (Fl 93).

Freeman was a West Pointer, but not an army lifer, so his army career didn't matter. He complained about Israeli controlled mercenaries, and must have had something on them.  They took him out, along with the four others, and most likely it was a remote bomb. If they did kidnap the group, it wasn't by force, Freeman thought he was being driven somewhere.

Captain Freeman was a specific target, and whoever did it, had access, and an air of trust.
