In the face of Iran's race to obtain nuclear weapons, the Israel Air Force has expressed newfound interest in receiving the F-22 - a US-developed fifth generation stealth fighter jet - and has requested that the Defense Ministry present the request on its behalf to the Pentagon.
 

   

 

 

 

Gates Gives Israel The Wink

Israel's Minister Amir Peretz, and US Defense Secretary Robert Gates, told the Post that Israel would ask to receive the aircraft in order to retain its "military edge" in the Middle East.

The F-22  entered  service in 2005. It's stealth, speed, weapons systems, make it unstoppable. Congress lifted the nine-year ban on its sale, for an Israeli purchase.

The Saudis are Israelis puppets, but there is always a chance of a palace coup. If the Arabs united they could wipe Israel off the map. All their arm's purchases are second generation, and spares are tightly controlled, so the planes can be quickly rendered useless.

When Israel gets a missile or plane, they always sell the technology. Defense Secretary Gates got their assurances it would be different this time.

Arming A Bunch Of Bolsheviks

If those planes are estimated at $120 mill, the real cost will be $200, and by the time support and spares are figured in, the cost will be $350 million each. So, Israel needs three squadrons of 18 each, approximately 60 planes, so the bill is $18 billion.

And have no fear they will sell the technology. All the world's troubles come out of that viper's nest. And you wonder why we are paying $3 a gallon for gas.
