BEIRUT, Lebanon Israel's army says it's checking reports that one of its airstrikes on Lebanon hit a vegetable storehouse, killing civilians.

The army says it went after two buildings believed to be housing weapons. But Lebanese officials say at least 28 farm workers were killed there, while loading produce at a site about two miles from the border with Syria. Twelve others are said to be wounded, and a bulldozer is being used to look for survivors in the rubble.
