In January, 2003, her group of four were protesting the Israeli bulldozing an Arab family's house.  She fell in front of a  bulldozer driven by a angry young Jew, he drove over her, dug the massive blade in, and then backed over her.

There was a play to comemorate her life, but Jews have banned it everywhere.

   

Toronto Jews Are Angry

Toronto's Jewish community, were dismayed and openly critical. The city's flagship not-for-profit theatre producing a play that could be construed as anti-Semitic propaganda, is totally unacceptable.

"I was asked what I thought, and I told them I would react very badly to a play that was offensive to Jews," says veteran cultural activist Bluma Appel, whose name is affixed to the theatre where CanStage presents its mainstage productions. "I would react just as badly to a play that was offensive to blacks or Muslims or white Christians," Appel said from her winter home in Florida.

Jack Rose, a member of the CanStage board has said 'No' to the play. It puts Jews in a negative light.
 

   

Newer Versions Show Corrie As Terrorist

To some she was an idealist who became a martyr; others regard her as the victim of an accident or a dupe of Hamas terrorists.
