Returned from San Francisco On Monday and had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Death in June show while I was doing some work at LLNL. I was not at all pleased with the 435 Broadway Club that hosted the show. It was an over-sold show, originally sold as a 18+ show, then the ownership decided to make it 21+ only. But I gained through others misfortune. I waited outside and through solid will, eventually gained enterance to the show without a ticket. I did, however, miss Strength Through Joy, but arrived just in time for KAPO to materialize on stage. I will have to say that Douglas P.'s anger at the host sound engineers conjoured missed emotion into the performance. San Francisco had a special unforseen treat that Boston did not.

The execution of the DIJ North American commenced on November 5th, 1997, at ManRay in Cambridge, Massachusetts. For those who have yet to see the show I recommend that you do so. Douglas indicated to me that this would be the first and last North American tour. I had waited 12 years for this show, and I was not disappointed. All bands at the venue performed spectacularly. You can read some thoughts I captured into the digital realm and decided to release into the general public.

Many thanks go out to Douglas P. for visiting the site, and to all others who find something useful contained within.
