Rapid Deployment System, V2.4.1D
The Silent Sentry Rapid Deployment System is the
transportable member of the product family, designed for real-time tracking, recording and
assessment of broadcast signal data. The ruggedized system can be moved and made
operational quickly for use in remote or temporary locations. This system is ideal
for military, scientific and other applications where surveillance is required for
limited periods and where redeployment is frequent.
The Rapid Deployment System
Key Benefits
- Robust and ruggedized construction,
- Real-time two dimensional tracking and visualization of airborne
objects,
- Three dimensional tracking and visualization during analysis,
- Unaffected by weather conditions,
- Comprehensive data recording and playback capabilities,
- Complete and continuous airspace coverage, and
- Low O&M costs compared to conventional radar.
Characteristics
- Exploitation of continuous wave (CW) signals allow for high update
rates,
- Complete airspace coverage area (within system parameters),
- Local operations and controlled system access,
- Field erectable antenna subsystem,
- High speed tape data capture and storage,
- Exploits multiple sources of illumination (i.e., radio and TV
broadcast signals, and optional cooperative transmitters).
The following types of targets can be tracked:
- Conventional fixed-wing military, commercial, and civilian
aircraft,
- Rotary wing aircraft (helicopters), and
- Drones, remotely piloted vehicles (RPV), and unmanned airborne
vehicles (UAV).
